Neither. I am a psychopractitioner — a therapist trained in psychotherapy, graduate of the IEPRA Institute. I do not prescribe medication and I do not deliver medical diagnoses. When that is needed, I work alongside your doctor or psychiatrist.
In which languages do you work?
English and French. Many of my clients are expats and international families who prefer to do this work in their own language.
How long does therapy last?
It depends entirely on what you bring. Some people come for six to ten sessions around a specific difficulty; others stay longer for deeper work. We review together regularly, and you are always free to stop.
What happens in the first session?
We talk about what brings you now, what you have already tried, and what you would like to be different. I explain how I work, and we decide together whether to continue. There is no obligation to commit.
Do you offer online sessions?
Yes, by video, wherever you are in the world. Online work is just as effective for most difficulties, and it suits people who travel or have moved away.
Is everything confidential?
Yes. Everything said in session stays in session, with the single legal exception of an immediate danger to your life or someone else's. With children, parents receive general guidance, not a transcript of what the child says.
From what age do you see children?
From around 5 years old. With younger children the work relies more on play, drawing and movement, and involves the parents more closely.
Is psychotherapy reimbursed?
Not by the French Sécurité Sociale. Some mutuelles and international health insurers reimburse part of the fee — I can provide an invoice for your claim.
